How big is Rocky Mountain National Park

Rocky Mountain National Park traverses 265,769 sections of land of immaculate wild (358 square miles), making it one of the biggest national parks in the United States. Trail Ridge Road (which interfaces Grand Lake and Estes Park) opened in July 1932. Around 11 miles of the drive along Trail Ridge Road are above timberline.
